If God is all-knowing, then he must of known that Adam and Eve would disobey him? Yes. If God is all-knowing, then he must have known that the calamity of the world was soon to come? Yes, he did. We will never be able to understand life through the eyes of God. Yet wisdom is trusting in his judgement. For it is he… who formed life itself. When God sees you he sees your past, your present, and your future. No mistake will surprise him, and every time you overcome your flesh heaven shall cheer. And God shall say “That is my child”.
When God looks at humanity nothing is hidden. (Hebrew 4:13) “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
But just as a Mother or Father steps back when their toddler falls, God allows us to make mistakes in order to grow. You have to fall to rise. You have to walk to run. You must feel tired before you gain your strength. In this world dear reader… wisdom requires sacrifice.
Why did God allow all bad things to happen then? Why must we suffer? Before a baby bird learns to fly, that baby bird must fall first. And now the baby has learned a new thing, and has gained a new strength. it is only right to feel pain in order to appreciate the beauty of peace.
Remember, the baby bird falls and then flies. The baby bird story has not ended. Just like Jesus suffered and rose, no pain shall go unrewarded. The rain helps produce that delicious fruit you love.
Jesus was always the plan. The end goal is for us to reign forever with our God. We just have to learn to walk first. Imagine humanity as toddlers. Death is just a simple fall… scary. But when we get back up we are faced with the comfort on our Father’s face. When humans reach maturity, we will be with God living happily for eternity.
Let us reflect on Psalm 139 1-16.
“O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”
God Knows you.
Now it is time for you to know him.
Whatever you may do dear reader, do it with love.
